ホームタウンで「日本国際観光映像祭」(JWTFF) を開催しませんか？映像祭では、開催都市を募集しています。

日本国際観光映像祭は、1989年にオーストリア・ウィーンで設立され、欧州を中心に11の映像祭が加盟する、国連世界観光機関(UNWTO)認定の世界最大国際観光映像祭ネットワーク"CIFFT*" に加盟するアジア唯一の観光映像祭です。

この映像祭は、日本の観光映像を世界へ発信するとともに、世界の観光映像を日本に紹介することを目的に、毎年3月頃に開催されます。

 

映像祭では、国内外から応募されたノミネート作品の上映・審査・表彰式に加え、開催地域や観光をテーマにしたフォーラムも実施。開催の模様はオンライン配信されます。

​また入賞作品は世界観光映像ツアーにて日本各地で放映されます。（世界観光映像祭ツアー参照）

 

さらに、過去の観光映像受賞作家が開催地をテーマにした映像作品を制作するコンペティション、"ART & FACTORY"も同時開催されます。詳細は日本国際観光映像祭公式HPまで。

About the Japan World's Tourism Film Festival

Why not host the “Japan World’s Tourism Film Festival” (JWTFF) in your hometown?

​

We are now calling applications from cities interested in holding the festival.

​

JWTFF is the only tourism film festival in Asia that belongs to CIFFT(International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals), the world’s largest international tourism film festival network, recognized by the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

​

Founded in 1989 in Vienna, Austria, CIFFT currently includes 11 member festivals, mainly in Europe.

​

Held each year around March, the festival aims to showcase Japanese tourism films to the world while introducing outstanding tourism films from around the globe to audiences in Japan.

​

In addition to screenings, evaluations, and the awards ceremony for nominated films submitted from Japan and abroad, the festival also includes forums centered on the host region and tourism-related themes. The entire event is streamed online.

​

Furthermore, award-winning films are showcased throughout Japan as part of the World Tourism Film Tour. ( See “World Tourism Film Festival Tour” )

The festival also features ART & FACTORY, a competition in which past award-winning filmmakers create new works themed on the host location.
