ART & FACTORY
ART & FACTORYは、日本国際観光映像祭および世界観光映像祭ツアー同時開催プログラムです。日本国際観光映像祭にて受賞歴のある映像作家を数名招聘、同じ条件下（撮影テーマ、対象地域、撮影日数など）で、映像祭、ツアー開催地をテーマにした観光映像を制作するコンペティションが実施されます。
多様な視点と表現力を持つ映像作家たちによって、開催地の魅力が新たな形で描き出され、プロモーション映像として国内外に発信されます。
映像作家には腕試しの場となり、開催地域にとっては魅力を広く発信する大きな機会となる、双方に大きなメリットのあるプログラムです。
Held alongside the JWTFF and World Tourism Films Festival Tour, “ART & FACTORY” is a special program where award-winning filmmakers from Japan and abroad are invited to create tourism films themed around the host destination.
Under the same conditions - such as filming theme, target area, and shooting period - these filmmakers compete to produce original works that capture the essence of the host region.
Through the diverse perspectives and creative expressions of these filmmakers, the unique charm of the host destination is rediscovered and shared both across Japan and around the world as inspiring tourism promotional films.
For filmmakers, it is a valuable opportunity to test their creativity and skills and for the host region, it is a powerful way to promote its appeal to a global audience a truly mutually beneficial program.
